Responsibilities of a Live-In Caregiver

Provide personal care assistance (bathing, grooming, toileting, dressing, mobility support)

Prepare meals and provide medication reminders
-
Offer companionship and emotional support
-
Assist with light housekeeping and daily household needs
-
Monitor safety and follow the client’s care plan

Be present and available to the client during the full 24-hour assignment
The Ideal Caregiver Will:

Have prior live-in caregiving experience
-
Be CNA, HHA, or PCA certified (preferred)

Be reliable, punctual, and committed to consistent care

Demonstrate discretion, professionalism, and trustworthiness

Have reliable transportation to travel to live-in assignments across CT
Hiring Requirements

Minimum 3 years caregiving experience (live-in preferred)

CNA, HHA, or PCA certification preferred

Must pass background check & eligibility verification

Valid driver’s license strongly preferred

Ability to lift, transfer, and safely assist clients
